SMASHINGLY SUCCESSFUL!!!

The 15th anniversary celebration of the UP Mass Communicators Organization, which lasted for two fabulous weeks, was quite a smashing success!!

The celebration, which kicked-off with the exhibit launch and the Grand Pakain, was felt not only at the UP College of Mass Communication but also as far as Vinzon’s Hall!!! Well in a way…the tarpaulin whihc hanged at Vinzons lasted for two great weeks, when in fact it should have lasted for only a week.

MCO’s heartwarming good deeds extended from our Grand Pakain to our outreach program, Outshine, Outreach, which enabled us to help kids from poor families enjoy a hearty meal and a good time with our fun-filled activities in cooperation with the Handmaids of the Divine Heart at Don Antonio Heights, QC.

Our annual Major Issue symposium attracted students from UP as well as St. Paul. Speakers Arlyn dela Cruz, Joseph Morong, and reactor Prof. Cristina Rara all shared their experiences in conflict reporting to better prepare students of mass communication with “what is out there”.

Finally the MCO Night brought resident members and alumni together for an unforgettable masquerade filled with fun games, naughty presentations, and great food at Pandan Seafood Grill and Restaurant.
