Bonjour/Bonsoir mes amis! Comment allez-vous? Moi? Je suis comme ci comme ça. Je ne connais pas pourquoi…

Didn’t understand what you just read? Just two weeks ago I also didn’t understand the sentence which I just wrote (and I am not sure if it is grammatically correct…), but now I have a better understanding of one of the world’s hardest languages to learn.
I just had my first ever exam in my French10 class last Monday and I am effing proud to say that I only got nine mistakes!! Yeah! Well, maybe the test was too easy, or I just have a broad understanding of French (or at least that is what I would like to believe in…). Ever since I could remember I always wanted to learn how to speak French. It’s one of the classiest languages to learn, and it’s pretty useful too. Just imagine dining in a fancy restaurant and not knowing what the hell poulet or vin is!!

Despite the fact that the journalism department does not include units of foreign languages in its curriculum like the other mass comm courses, I still defiantly took up French10. I thirsted for knowledge and I am not content with just speaking moi, merci, and voulez vou cou chez avec moi ce soi. I wanted more!! So, I became le étudiant de français!
I just wish I would be able to speak français well by the end of the course. Until then I would have to learn to memorize the gender of every freaking noun and adjective to properly construct my sentences! Stupide Français! Why do they have to be effing sexists?!
Au revoir! À la prochaine et merci beaucoup!
