HOT NEW DO

I just had my hair cut last Sunday, and so far I had been getting nothing but absolute admiration! The person who usually cuts my hair moved out of the parlor in which he works in. At first I had no idea where to go to have my hair cut. He knows how I like my hair to be styled (not too short because the strands would stiffly stand, the bangs should be short enough not to cover my eyes but long enough to cover my forehead, it should be low maintenance and could be used for a casual or formal look), and so I actually had a dilemma who to go to. Some barbers are too “unstylish” to handle my hair, but some “parloristas” are too finicky to handle my crowning glory (gay parloristas are the best people to consult for a hair emergency whether you’re a man or a woman…they really know hair!). Talk about a bad hair day!

But after looking around I decided to try another parlor in our neighborhood. It was a little farther away from our house, but it would have to do. It was smaller than the one I was used to, but still air-conditioned and well maintained. It’s no David’s Salon, but it would have to do (I used to go to Going Straight at SM, but their trimming service became too expensive for casual trims…). I wasn’t disappointed.

The person did a great job on my hair. I looked like a freaking rock star!! Yeah! My CWTS group mates all noticed how great I looked (except for Rhyzl who only noticed I had a hair cut two hours later than everybody else…come on!), and who am I to disagree? Hahaha! Well, rock star or not, I know I look good in my hot new do…its actually perfect for the summer heat. Seems like the sun won’t be the only one sizzling this summer…that’s hot!
