For the past two weeks I have been haunted by nothing but the entries that I am supposed to pass for my J151 (Advertising) class and for the AdSpeak competition itself. We were supposed to make values-oriented public service ads. It was so unnerving trying to think of a “big idea” that would be apt for my chosen value: marriage. If that wasn’t problematic enough, I also don’t know how to use Adobe Photoshop. Due to my inefficacies, I had no choice but to study Photoshop over the span of two freaking nights… Thankfully I was able to create three print ads (I joined the campaign category) and have them materialize yesterday just in time for the deadline, which is today. I had to ask my dad to drive me all the way to Letran at Intramuros, Manila just so I could pass it. I would now be awaiting the results of the judging which would take place on Feb. 8 at Letran. Until then I could only hope that this endeavor would prove to be fruitful…
